Underwater Night Club in New York

Combining scuba divers two favorite sports: diving and drinking. This video is only a "what if" scenario, the bar doesn’t actually exist. But it sure would be cool if it did. Fake or not, I love the idea. DiveBuddy.com would sponsor a club like this in a heartbeat :)

Here’s how they made the video.

This whole thing was produced to advertise a watch!

"TechnoMarine, a Geneva based luxury watch brand, challenged us to create a unique marketing video to promote their new waterproof watches. They asked for something fun, cool, and original. Since their watches are waterproof, illuminate in low light conditions and since they wanted something “cool” and “fun” we figured we would create an environment that would address all of these things. So somehow we ended up pitching the world’s first underwater nightclub to them. They loved it."

They have long straws with a cap attached to their drink. I guess the idea was to stick the straw up from the bottom of the helmet, but good luck getting it to your mouth. It would be better if there was a way to build a drinking tube into the helmet somehow, then the bartender could "snap-in" your drink on the back or something :)

Interesting concept..... wonder how frat boys try to look cool with vomit all over the inside of their helmets/facemasks.....

I wonder what kind of Speicialty certification from PADI would be required to dive in this bar! Hahaha!:-)

Hell, they made that set for the video. All they need is a liquor license (and liability insurance)! I’d probably go do it, if it was in a location I already planned on going to for other reasons.

At our bar we have THE MIAMI SPINY LOBSTER TOURNAMENT 2012 you could win part of the $2000. cash & prizes... maybe the biggest bug will be found at the CORONA DIVE BAR REEF off SOUTH BEACH(there is a cement bar in about 40ft of water) they don’t sever drinks but you could catch your fill of lionfish.... How about the chick(waitress, dancer, customer?) with the spear gun? Don’t give her a hard time.

I just hope they are not piping in loud music so you can’t hear your own bubbles!
