High tide works this weekend to get in a Shark River Inlet dive during the unrestricted times. I am open to either Morning. With a west wind , the north side of Manasquan Inlet is a possibility. I would also consider the RR Bridge.

Robert,
Last weekend the water temperature was mid 60’s. There was a light east wind for a couple of days prior to the dive. This weekend , a strong west wind is forecasted which means upwelling of cold water. We could see 55 degree water temps.
High tide is 6:23 am and 6:45 pm Saturday. I like to go in 1/2 hour before high tide. The pm dive is more appealing sleep wise. The RR bridge we would dive around 7:30 am, which is more appealing sleep wise.
We could consider the Manasquan Inlet ( north outside ) around 4 pm on Sat.
Sunday high tide is 7:11 am at the inlet.
I will check the vis Friday night.
What are your thoughts?

Hi Robert I would be interested in diving either tomorrow or Sunday. I’ve never dove the jersey shore I’m more into warm weather diving but I’m game to give it a try. I have been diving for nearly 20 years.

The water temp today is 59.
It could drop more with the strong west wind.
Vis might be an issue this weekend, but is hard to predict.
My preferences: RR Bridge in at 7:00 am Sat
Shark River Inlet in at 6:00 pm Sat—cheat high tide
Shark River Inlet in before 7:00 am Sun

Let me know
