I have the same BCD and made my weights from #7 shot sewn into homemade nylon material pouches. The nylon came from an old equipment storage bag that was in the garage.
I figure at the time I paid about a dollar a pound when the retail prices were around four dollars a pound.
Lead shot has increased in price lately, too.
