I have been diving since 1958. First certified by the, now defunct NorthEast Council of Skin Diving Clubs [ First Class Diver ] NAUI = Advanced Open Water Diver, later in 1970, while visiting my son in San Diego Naval Base, I certified Open Water Diver w/ NASDS. I recertified because it became increasingly more difficult to get out of state air fills with NECSDC certificate.

I have over 1000 + dives. I no longer keep a record. My best warm water dives were 1.) Bahamas ( Won a free trip with South Shore Neptunes Dive Club for winning Diver of the Year ) 2.) Key West reef dive w/ Reef Raiders and # 3 Son.

My deepest dive 220’ in Swingles Quarry, MA. the dive was part of certification for Master diver. I never followed through with the certification , as I got too involved with sport diving. My first year of certified diving I logged in 207 dives, Ice, open water, shore dives, recovery and commercial.

I served two years as Dive Master and on Board of Directors for the SS Neptunes, and five years on the team of Quincy Civil Defense Underwater Recovery Unit.

My equipment ScubaPro, US Divers, SeaQuest etc.
