On December 8th 2011 Precious Cargo Diving had the fantastic opportunity to share our experiences in the management of a dive shop with selected classes at Belton-Honea Path High School as the result of an invitation from Ms. Tonya Locke, Career Development Facilitator. The opportunity was outstanding as we were able to share with the students how each of the items they are studying in school this month were vital to the success of our SCUBA shop or any successful business. Students provided great input and the close to each session was a game run by the President of PCD Debbie Shafer. During the game students were questioned until there was either one or two players remaining and they received "Stolen from Precious Cargo Diving" T-shirts. The goal of this presentation was not to advertise PCD but to show the significance of the items they are learning in school and the importance of developing their portfolio. We had a great time and hope the students gained at least one thing they could use. Thank you Ms. Locke for the invitation!
