Hi Dive Buddies!
The Dive Site Orientation Series will include brief videos & accompanying blog post that describe the basic layout, services, type of diving and what to expect when you visit the site.
- Instructors can use these videos to help reduce student dive site anxiety and to ensure that students know, in advance, where specific things are located to make a class go as smoothly as possible.
- Students can use the series to orient themselves with a specific dive location so, when the arrive, they can concentrate on equipment and skills with the comfort of already being familiar with the site itself.
- Divers can use the series to make their own recreational dive experience as familiar and hassle free as possible.
I am planning on two edits per site.
SKuba Steve Edit – This edit may contain personal editorial remarks, bloopers or funny stuff that happened on the trip. These edits will be uploaded only to the Under Pressure Dive Blog Youtube channel.
Vimeo Edit – The VEdit will be the same content with casual (what some might call the ‘unprofessional’) content removed. The VEdits will be available on both the Youtube channel as well as the Under Pressure Dive Blog Vimeo site. Stores, instructors etc. will be encouraged to used the Vimeo versions but, of course, are welcome to use whatever version is more appropriate for their audience.
I’ll be updating this as I visit new locations and look forward to everyone’s feedback in order to make improvements as we go!
The surface interval’s over… get out there and dive!
SKuba Steve
