I have had many recent inquiries and complaints from out-of-town divers about the absence of diving tour services here in California similar to those in other parts of the world where they supply the equipment, boat, and UW DM or guide. For the most part that is true. Unless you are part of a dive club or shop group A diver here usually has to provide all of their own equipment, find and sign up for a dive boat, and when you get to a dive site all you get is a site briefing before you enter the water with your buddy and are on your own. So, I would like to solicit comments if this type of service would be desirable for out-of-town visitors.
