Just got back from Crystal River - American Pro Divers takes a boat upstream and both divers and snorkelers drift down stream witht he boat for an hour long dive that ends with a small cave... the water is crystal clear and 72 degrees. I highly recommend this dive for anyone wanting a nice pleasant dive to get some experience in!

solodiver - 6/14/2007 12:00 AM Would stay away from scubaboard Cut the cord to the dive shops There are nice camp grounds at the river with boat rentals. Anyone hitting the Florida panhandle area,. look me up. I dive the springs often. Jetties are near by

harleydiver - 6/01/2007 12:00 AM Check out www.scubaboard.com, look up Pro Divers in Crystal River. They don`t have a very good track record with the locals. I am glad you had a good time and you my friend are fortunate. I happened to go with a group to dive with them and ewe all walked out rather quickly. We ened up going to another location and renting a pontoon boat and doing the dive. I always recommend that we all do our research prior to diving with a particular charter. Again, I am glad you had a good and safe dive.
