Yesterday was a big day. It was the day I put my Divemaster application in the mail to PADI. So based on PADI’s usual rapid handling of new certification cards and the like, I expect I’ll be able to prove my professional status in a couple of months.

RAWalker - 10/19/2009 1:22 PM Wow! Only 2 weeks to get the card. PADI definately handles professional certifications faster. This past Friday I sent in my DSD internship form lets see if they go 2 for 2. Thanks for the congrats folks! If you would have asked me a year ago if I thought I’d be able to attain DM the answer would have been doubtful. Now I know I can progress forward if I put the work in. I still need to get myself in better shape to eventually join the instructor ranks but I’m far more confident that it’s a realistic goal.
