Well the days are winding down till I bring my sister on her First dive trip this weekend! I decided to take her to Roatan due to the fact I went there last Jan and loved it! We will be staying at AKR, which I have heard good things about, and expect a great atmosphere and wonderful diving. I have checked all our equiptment at least 5 times in the last 2 days making sure it weighs less than 50lbs so we don’t get charged extra $$ by the airline! I will be taking loads of pictures and try to update them daily on my page! I also plan on getting my sis to create a divebuddy profile! We are excited and lookforward to sharing some of our adventures with all our divebuddies! Also if anyone knows anything that is a must do while we are there please let me know!

DiveBuddyChgo - 12/12/2009 3:18 PM You are allowed 2 50 lb. bags checked in each plus a carry on and a personnel item such as computer or purse.. International flights do not charge until you have a 3rd luggage to be checked in.. Do don’t worry about the luggage.. AKR also has someone for cheap to wash your dirty clothes and will have it ready by the end of the day.. AKR is a lot of fun and the best so far for me.. HAVE FUN !
