DiveBuddy Mobile Website LaunchedDiveBuddy Mobile is now available!

Whenever you browse DiveBuddy.com from a mobile device, you may be redirected to the new mobile version of our website: divebuddy.com/mobile

The mobile version is a designed to fit smaller devices with touch functionality. Not all features of DiveBuddy.com are available on the mobile version. However, you will find that most of the things you need, while browsing from your phone or tablet, are available.

For example, you can view recent photos, forum topics, articles and events. You can upload new photos, reply to forum topics, post comments, and view member profiles. You can send private messages to your dive buddies.

From DiveBuddy Mobile, you can also view dive sites and manage your dive log! Once you’ve completed a dive, access divebuddy.com/mobile to quickly and easily log your dive and share a photo.

Thank you to all the DiveBuddy members that helped test the mobile version while in development. If you happen to find a bug, please report it here: divebuddy.com/forum/38535/need-mobile-beta-testers/

I hope you enjoy DiveBuddy Mobile as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it for you! As always, please let me know if you have questions or comments.

Sincerely,

Greg Davis

I went to my club to add a new member on my phone on the browser and when i went to view all the members in club it automatically went to the mobile site to All Divebuddy members
Greg - 2/12/2015 11:18 AM
I haven’t yet completed the Club section on the mobile site. You can view all club members on the mobile site, but I still need to work on the club profile on the mobile site.

I just added the ability to search on the mobile Dive Sites and Members pages.

The mobile version is pretty cool. I’m discovering content I never noticed before.
Greg - 1/17/2015 6:22 AM
Yeah, I designed it to show content from all members that have a public profile. That way it provides a lot of content to browse through. So new users that aren’t members yet can get a great idea of what we’re all about.

So far seems smooth..wish there was a icon on phone for this..the mods arent listed?
Greg - 1/13/2015 1:58 PM
List of mods will remain on Full Site. You can easily add the DiveBuddy Mobile site as a bookmark on your homescreen. Your mobile browser should be able to do that.

My only qualm is that the GREY BAR to the right never disappears back UP. So I can’t see your jellyfish pic
Greg - 1/13/2015 1:56 PM
It should. If you click on the menu button again or if you click anywhere outside the grey bar, it should go away. Is it not doing that for you?
Greg - 1/13/2015 2:08 PM
I bet what you are talking about is the screen shot image of the mobile site :)
DiveGirl55 - 1/13/2015 11:54 AM
Yay! It’s so cute and tiny!

Thanks! Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
