Channel Islands post-Christmas 2007
My son and I went with N-depth scuba to Ventura, stayed aboard the Spectre and dove 2 days with 3 dives each around the Channel Islands. Brrrr it was cold, day one (snowing/freezing rain on the boat trip to the island) my gauges read 48 degrees at 35 feet. Vis was good and lots of sea life thru the kelp, but did I mention it was cold??? The trip over last Labor Day weekend was a blast. Great dives, great weather, great taquilla, no hang-overs, no dolphins were harmed.... a TEN (10) on the PARTYMARTY scale....
