Let me start this blog by saying the picture shows the truck only about half loaded. There was twice as much in the end as what is shown here. The DiveBuddy.com team arrived at the Trashfest 2010 registration area at around 8 am. Dr. Mike had already set up the DiveBuddy banner so we could all find each other. My first out of country dive trip was to Cozumel in January of 2008. When my flight left Dallas, Tx. the temperatures were in the upper 20`s. Upon arrival to Cozumel I stepped off the plane to temps in the mid 80`s and partly cloudy skies. It was about noon and we hurried to the motel "Casa Del Mar" and checked in, then off to the docks to board a boat for an afternoon 2 tank trip. Just came up from my second dive on my Lake Travis Windy Point dive trip. We did 107 ft. but found that there was very little fish life below 60 ft. At around 30 ft the number of perch around us was unbelievable. There were also multiple catfish in excess of 2 ft. long and a couple of bass that were very nice sized also. I sit here writing this as I do my Surface Interval. The visibility above 70 ft. is only about 10 ft., but at 100 ft it was probably 20 ft+ but very dark. A dive light was requi...
