Dive report May 31th

Finally got my new drysuit. Did two dives are some site in Monterey Bay where saw a harbor seal, a pod of dolphins, and also a red cabezon. Otherwise, no camera used because didn’t want to overload myself too much....

Went to Half Dome today. Sorry I haven’t been keeping up with my blog. Too busy with school and now I’m getting into Zen sand box toys. Dive log March 29th

Did two dive from the Sanctuary. The dive from the boat is a thank you and my patronage for Captain Jones and Matthew for taking me on a taxi ride to the Beach Hopper 2 in August. It was a very interesting dive day. Anyways, first dive did at Aumentos and I lost my reel which was very sad because it was my 150th dive gift from my mother and Brian. 2nd dive was at McAbbee site where we saw a flock of sea lions, a cabazon, and small invertebrates around the area. Did a dive at the Mating Amtracks. Visibility wasn`t great but took some nice shots of sea life on the track vehicle. Last dive did at Bottles again at a different location then on October 20th. Saw lots of metridium and a sea cucumber that had a very fancy skin design on him. How could anybody create such a complex of pattern on this creature....

Supposed to be a Pt. Lobos Charter but Beach Hopper 2 ship pulled back because of bad weather. First Charter, Dive 1: Did a dive at a site called Bottles. Lots of Metridium, lots of strawberry anemone, lots of crabs, and a giant four foot lingcod. Dive 2: Hit the bottom before I saw the bottom. Dive 3: Same as dive 3 Second Charter: Dive 4: Hit the wreck before I even saw it, helped Mike with the reel and got tangled so just left it there. Two other divers retrived it for us....
