50 States - 50 Dives
Several years ago I read this book: An American Underwater Odyssey: 50 Dives in 50 States. I was absolutely enthralled by the idea of combining the idea of such a goal with my diving passion. Since then, I have been trying to itch and etch my way through the country to see if I can dive the 50 states prior to getting too old to dive. Ear Blockage and Florida Trip
There is nothing weirder than being in Florida and not having a dive trip planned. Yes, that is exactly what happened to me earlier this month (October). I flew to Orlando on business and then took couple of days off with the girlfriend. Unfortunately, my left side of my face is totally blocked and no chance of it clearing up in time for the dive. The funny part was the weather. While I was in Ft. Lauderdale the weather was absolutely horrific and would not have been a good time to dive anyways....
