Cavern Diver Class
Hey everyone! Been a while since I’ve been on.. been even longer since I wrote a blog! This past weekend I did part of the dives for my PADI Cavern Diver specialty. We did two dives on Saturday. I learned some things besides the Cavern stuff. One I learned that even if a diver had more experience then you and more dives doesn’t mean they are a better diver or even a good diver. Weekend Dives 7/18-7/19
Hey everyone! I did my certification dives for AOW this weekend. Five dives in all! I was a great weekend, with lots of firsts! Saturday we did navigation, including using a compass, at one point ended up with ZERO vis and still managed to come back exactly as planned! We also ran some basic search and recovery patterns, U-Pattern, expanding square pattern, and rope circle pattern. Advanced Open Water and other stuff!
Hey I want to first thank everyone for there advice! So I had the day off today, I gathered my regs and went to the local dive shop. I got there and they don’t service the brand of regs I have, so now I have to make time to go on an hour drive to the next closest dive shop. I called said dive shop, was told it was at least a week turn-a-round time (looks like I’m borrowing for class!).
