New Years Day dive.

What a blast the dive was today! It was an early start at 6am so needless to say I didn`t do a whole lot of celebrating when the ball dropped at midnight last night. The weather was supposed to be fairly extreme for the day and that just made it more interesting for me. However, after it was all said and done, the 4"-6" of snow never made it. Well I am not much for blogging but I suppose I will give it a shot! We did the annual Pumpkin Carving Dive last weekend at Gilboa Quarry in Ohio. It wasn`t a carving contest as in past years. We just decided to get together and have a good time. There was roughly a dozen divers in the group, but the quarry was busy with other dive classes and fun dives going on. Back in 2004, I was stationed down in Cuba for a year with the Army. I was fortunate enough to be able to do some diving in my spare time, and it was phenominal! One of my more memorable dives was the day I was visited by a pod of 6 dolphins.
