Instructor or not...
I was talking to a few friends the other day about diving. It was mentioned to me that I should go for my Dive master/ Instructor certifacations. I gave it a lot a thought and writing this blog may help me explain why I dont. I have a bunch of friends that are DM/Instructor level and I have talked to them. Dive Book Help
I am the type of person that can read the tech books, the manuals and all the magazines about diving I can get my hands on. Even in school I wasnt much on the reading stuff. A friend suggested I read a book called "THE LAST DIVE". You know what, I am hooked on these type of dive books. They tell you a *TRUE* story first and formost. They also teach you about the tech part of diving. Most importantly to me they teach you the mind set part of diving. They make for fasinating reading. I have since ...

Gopro Wrist Camera
Ok..I am a bit of a sucker for a new toy. I will admit it...lol...But I saw this camera and the dive instructor at the shop , who also teaches the photo course talked to me about it. He even showed my some shots that he took with one.I was impressed. I know it has its limits. It is after all a very small wrist worn digital . It is not a HIGH QUALITY unit. This Sux...lol
HHMMM...I just have to vent...lol... I am just getting ready to go south for a fall/winter vacation and this happens. I was all ready to dive warm water and have a blast doing it when the call came in. "Your surgery has booked....Be here".. Oh well I guess its better to fix it now. At least I got alot of time in the water this summer. I will use this time to study and learn. I am hopeing to make a winter/spring trip. ANYWAY... it is my pleasure to meet you all.
