Out of the water for a bit.....
Hey everyone just thought i’d share the reason i haven’t been on here much, We are expecting our second child a girl!! mid may and so i have been unable to dive for a few months:( We are also getting ready for a big move to Alaska in feb, so busy busy lol, We are hoping to be able to continue our diving while in Alaska but it will depend on if i can take the cold:/ lol and wont be til we get dry suit certified, My last dive before i found out i was pregnant i saw my first turtle!! so it was at l...

finally AOW certed!!
Took forever, but me and my hubby finished up our AOW class on monday, would have been done alot sooner but our son got sick hence we got sick fun sharing germs:/ lol but it’s done and we are both very excited next will be the nitrox class:) hope everyone is doing great:)...

yay!!
So i decided i wanted to take my AOW class so i will be starting it on sept 28th with my original dive instructor who is great!! very excited she mentioned we would be doing somthing special during this class because we have a couple who just got engaged and she wanted to do somthing for them so yay we all get to benifite, she said it might turn into a boat dive at okuma would be great:) either way im stoked and cant wait to begin already lol hubby is actually taking this class with me so yea wi...

been awhile....
Ok, so it’s been awhile since i’ve really had much time to get on here and update things, but i guess it’s better late then never... Ok so i have been diving with my hubby and some new dive friends he knows, they are both close to master divers and have taken the rescue dive classes etc.. so felt really comfortable diving in a few new dive spots, we have been diving at channel crevices...

started my underwater photography class!
photos to come later:) Hi So i started my underwater photography class last night, was a very fun class, i am used to using my canon rebel camera but not willing to chance it getting flooded so hubby bought me the nikon coolpix and ikilite housing, it takes pretty good pictures, hoping i can take good ones under the water lol will let you all see how i do:/ we are supposed to be hitting the water for the class this weekend so hopefully i will have some ok pictures to post soon:) wish me luck hah...

Yay!!!!
Our first open water dive with my instructor it was sprinkling and pretty windy so we all drove down the road to maeda point great place to dive so much aqua life to see:) the only down fall was the like 100 stairs to walk down to the water, but the going down wasnt really the problem the going back up was so much harder lol we went to maeda for all of my open water dives, did all our class stuff got signed off then we were able to play and check things out:) got to see a good sized eel, a schoo...

Yay!! ok so i started my class on jun 1st got through all the written tests and and all that fun stuff:) and on the 4th we hit the pool! it went great was so much fun and nice and warm at 84 degree’s lol we practiced asending, fin pivots, mask flooding, even had some leftover time and got to play underwater football:) i suck at catching it but i was able to practice clearing my mask because when i laugh my mask leaks and i lol a lot:) and that was end of day 1 in the pool everyone in my class di...
