We are a military affiliated Dive Club here on Okinawa. If you are a diver here on Okinawa and you want to meet other divers this club is for you. The purpose of this Organization is to bring SOFA status divers of Okinawa together for an opportunity to meet fellow divers and to encourage safe, enjoyable, and environmentally aware scuba diving. We are inclusive of all divers regardless of branch of service, level of diving experience, or certifying agency to ensure that all divers enjoy a safe diving experience while on Okinawa. We are dedicated to sharing the enjoyment of our undersea world with fellow divers, and to making fellow divers of the DoD community. We meet to socialize, share our experiences, tell tall tales of our diving accomplishments and plan club dives. We are always ready to welcome new members whether they are complete beginners or experienced divers. We hold a monthly meeting/social that will cover the following: Introduce new members Opportunity to meet divers Recognize members who have advanced in their diving education Showcase members photographs & video Guest speakers Safety issues Highlight a dive sites Continuing education Environmental issues and projects (clean-ups) -Organize club diving events: Dive Trips Member Dive Invites Dive Mom’s Co-op -Assist TAD/TDY Divers deployed to Okinawa
