New Dive Club for DivBuddy.com in San Antonio, Texas.
We are putting everything together at present and we will meet on Tue. Jan. 25, 2011 at 8PM at Shorty’s Bar & Grill (this is a brand new place) The food is great and they have a Bar and will give all club member’s a dicount on anything you buy there. It is a non-smoking place. So support them, we are getting the place for free.
Suggest a logo for our club and we may use it! I have one now but if we put our heads together and come up with somethig better we will vote on it at the 1st meeting.
That’s why it is important to show up for this first Mtg. We will elect officers, and a special certificate will be given to charter member for the first meeting.
Then a regular charter membership certificate will be given to all who join and attend regular meetings the first year.
We will get T-Shirts and Caps put together soon. Our first meeting will be when, we decide how we are going to operate, so I will need as many as possible to show up so we can get your input!

I am at the end of the table. This is a 7-day total dive trip...at Turks & Cacios Provo.
It is an example of the power of number’s in a Club.
Dive World knew I wanted to make some trips with them but couldn’t afford an expensive trip.
At the last moment a person had to bail on this trip for personal reasons, they had put a $1,000 down payment on the trip and it was too late to get a refund.
So, I got a call, and guess what? I could afford it for $1,000 less. So I got a great discount and met some divers that I never knew!
We have stayed in touch since then!
