South Florida Women Divers is a women only scuba diving club serving Palm Beach and Broward Counties. Over 80 women, aged 14 - 79, are members of South Florida Women Divers
(SFWD), which was started started in 1991. Our members are single,
married, some are mothers and some are grandmothers. We have members who
are newly certified divers and some who are instructors with thousands
of dives. All are welcome to join. We also have "Associate Members" who
don’t dive, but enjoy our many activities. Our activities have expanded
to include kayaking and camping trips, as well as trips to Sea World,
Disney, Butterfly World, bowling and other social activities.BOAT AND BEACH DIVES ALL YEAR LONG
We schedule
most of out local boat dives out of Boynton Beach and Deerfield Beach,
with drift diving on beautiful 60’ reefs, with abundant fish and corals.
Quite a few of our members lobster, and we have a "how to lobster
class" each August. Beach dives are held on many weekends in the Ft.
Lauderdale area or the Blue Heron Bridge in West Palm Beach. One of our
most fun dives is our annual Underwater Pumpkin Carving contest each
Halloween.
INTERNATIONAL DIVE TRIPS
Each year members organize several international trips. We have been to Palau, Yap, the Bahamas, Roatan, and Bonaire.

MONTHLY MEETINGS WITH FUN AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS Visitors,
members and guests are all welcome the first Wednesday of each month to
our meetings from 7-9:00 pm in Boca Raton, just minutes from I-95.
