Hey! Thanks for looking into Christian Divers. We are brand new and even though we are currently based out of Augusta, GA, we’re mostly an online community of Christians that share the common bond of diving. We are always looking for folks to get together with for a Bible study/dive session/bbq. Right now, we are looking to get a group of divers together to start organizing a regularly occurring Dive Against Debris event.
Ultimately, our goal is to have a monthly devotions and dive day, as well as a monthly newsletter and periodic planned dive events. We are not associated with any Christian denomination, but want to bridge the gap between denominations and just focus on developing our relationships with God, each other, and the marine environment.
Christian Divers’ Core Beliefs: We believe that Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins - past, present, and future. We believe that we were not put on this Earth to judge others, but to love on them. We also believe that it is our moral obligation to be good stewards of the natural world that we were entrusted with.
