Gear growing pains... Grr... The hood was too tight, had to ditch it. 20lbs was not enough, had to add 4 more. Gemini inflator is NOT the yellow button (it’s the little one!) Got ’stuck’ on the bottom when I couldn’t get the BCD to inflate, user error. Was breathing so hard & my heart was beating so fast from trying to swim back up to the dive platform, that I signalled my buddy, Bill W, that I needed to abort (or at least get to the surface so I could get ahead of it and get calmed down & catch my breath). After I got everything under control, I was able to have a decent little dive! Saw lots of seaweed that was quite pretty. Saw the overturned boat. Even saw a pike!
