I was seasick as we went down. My bc wasn’t fully tightened and I was going to do it in the water. As I went to tighten the waist strap, I must have acidentially pulled/touched the right weight pouch (although I know I didn’t pull it hard). The pouch fell out and dropped (ugh, $45 in brand new soft weights). I initially tried to go after it; went to 60ft before Tim told me to go up. Apparently the depth was ~200ft where we first went in so I wasn’t going to be able to retrieve it anyways. The bottom certinaly looked close though. Swam around for a while and then it was too hard to stay at depth. Got on boat and got 8lbs lead to put in right BC pocket. Went in water, didn’t swim away from the boat fast enough, hit it a bit. Went back to bait bucket where there was a shark circling the bait bucket [lemon]. Bucket was at ~30ft. We were supposed to stay upstream and keep the bucket at eye level. Buoyancy control was hard (and I wasn’t symmetrically weighted). On the way up, the safety stop was great for the first 2 minutes at 15ft but then I somehow dropped to 25ft. Just went straight up after that. Forgot to watch for boat while waiting for pickup (horn blast from boat reminder). On boat pickup, I handed up one fin, as I went to hand up the second one, I lost my grip on the bar and coudln’t catch the float they threw. Must remember to be more careful when there are large swells. Other members of the group said there were 2 lemon sharks below us and a bull shark behind us (I never saw them). We drifted as far north as Jupiter when we exited. Final thought: I really need my own BCD. The weight pouches on the rental was really touchy. During ocean swells when traveling to the dive site, the right pocket fell onto the deck of the boat twice (I’m thinking because the plastic cl
