Dolphin Lover: Located at the Northern most part of Kaanapali Beach at the Sheraton Maui. This dive has a very easy entry and exit. Depths are to 35 feet. Many species of fish frequent the area due to snorkelers feeding them all day long. There are turtles and many moray eel species. Occasionally one may spot an Eagle Ray passing by. This rock extends about 50 feet above the ocean and drops to depths of 35 feet. This may be considered like a shallow wall dive and the dive has much beauty. There is a small cave in the wall where the picture on the right was taken from inside. Occasionally a large turtle may be found sleeping in the cave. This is an excellent night dive for advanced as well as doing your first night dive. There are many eel that can be seen feeding at night. This is one of the popular shore dives from West Maui. Don’t miss this one.
