The scuba diving here is amazing, with an abundance of marine life to enjoy. In addition to schools of vibrant tropical fish, you can see giant manta rays, dolphins, sea turtles and eels. Angelfish, parrotfish, puffers, clown shrimp, spotted eagle rays, cow rays, barracuda, and hogfish are also among the many marine dwellers commonly sighted here. Perhaps most exciting are the sharks, including white tips, whale sharks and bulls. The best visibility is often reported during the green season (May – November) averaging from 35 ft to 100 ft / 10m to 30m. Temperatures range from 75 F to 84 F / 30C to 32 C, which makes Costa Rica scuba diving a delightful tropical plunge!
