Kin Red is a shore accessible salt water dive site, located in Kin, Okinawa, Japan. This dive site has an average rating of 4.00 out of 5 from 5 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 51-60ft/16-18m. The average visibility is 36-40ft/11-12m.
This site is great for days that nowhere else on the island is diveable. Kin Red is a bit shallow and lacks coral but makes for a good dive site nonetheless. The bottom is a bit silty and if there are many divers you may find visibility can become desired. Many of the local instructors use Kin Red as a certification site so it is definitely for all levels of divers. I’m not familiar with any wrecks or underwater structures other than the pilings that can be see in the photo. Worth a leisure dive!
