Joe’s Place is a shore accessible fresh water dive site, located at 200 CR 2620, Mico, TX 78056. This dive site has an average rating of 3.55 out of 5 from 11 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 111-120ft/34-37m. The average visibility is 16-20ft/5-6m. Training platforms are available.

Joe’s Place at Lake Medina. A very nice dive site a lot to see. They have Boat/Jet Ski launch. Boat Rentals and yes you can dive from it. Cabin, RV, tent, picnic sites. Fee $7.00 per car.

I went scuba diving here on 6/27/2021. Average viz: 5-10ft/2-3m. Water temp: 71-75°F/22-24°C.
Found sunken car Volkswagen rabbit, looks like it was rolled off a ledge and landed in the lakes edge. Been there a long time.

I went scuba diving here on 9/29/2018. Average viz: Under 5ft/2m. Water temp: 61-65°F/16-18°C.
Visability was very poor and past 50’ it was complete darkness.

dove here through Dive World Scuba, San Antonio, Texas ... great dive shop. Medina (at Joe’s) has above average viz for a lake. 3mil summer, 5mil winter. Gradual descent, 0ft to 30, then a drop to 60ft. Usual training aids ... boats, trucks, etc. Lot of fish: catfish, bass, sunfish, crappie, carp and gar.

well let’s take a boat on lake travis scuba park is always a decent dive spot.. sternes islands too
