Soft black sand down the entrance. To the left there are deep volcanic fishers along with pockets of coralheads teaming with life. To the right a long sandbar leading to shear clifs that go to about 20 feet deep. The middle has a boat moaring that a 40 or so foot catamaran takes out tourists for winter whale wach tours. Gated community inside the Mauna Lani hotel area.
