The museum’s ROV video http://www.lcmm.org/museum_info/shipwreck_tours.html gives you an idea of the vis, maybe 5’ plus the museum has a replica of the Philadelphia which is sank at Valcour, might be interesting to walk around before diving it.

Well never mind diving the Philadelphia, per WreckHunter.net: "Vessel was raised in 1935 and is now displayed at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC. It is the oldest American fighting vessel in existence." and there is a link to a picture of it in Washington
