I never intended to dive here but one of the outboards fell off the rescue launch while the boat was being pulled from the water because the bay was freezing over ending seaplane operations. The borrowed gear was flown in by helicopter. Hopedale now has an airstrip! The dive was short and painful in a drysuit that wasn’t!
