A fun dive with decent visibility of 10’-15’. All the "wrecks" are linked by polypro line requiring minimal navigation. Enter by lining up the sign on shore with the tree with the V notch in it and head out a short distance to the drop off where you will find the start of the line to the platform. From there, consistently select the left most line off each item to complete a clockwise loop which will take you to the deeper locations first and end with a swimming safety stop.

Def not my fav dive of 2017. Algae was dense. Found a 1981 class ring from Jackson MI on bounds of swimming area. Did i mention the algae?

If you have spare air at end of dive, dive green and remove some of the trash in swimming area. I’ve seen worse, but still managed to recover 23 golf balls and an abundance of trash all within the swim area.

This lake is known for fresh water jelly fish - the Craspedacusta sowerbii.
Usually found in calm, freshwater reservoirs, lakes, impoundments, gravel pits or quarries. The medusa’s appearance is sporadic and unpredictable from year to year. Just like salt water jellyfish they do have stinging cells. However, these cnidocytes cells are used for paralyzing very tiny prey and have not been proven to have the capacity to pierce human skin.

Visibility changes from bad to terrible. The sunken boats are kind of cool to see if you’re new. Makes a great intro or training lake but otherwise pass.
