wuzaracer - 7/10/2017 9:58 AM I went scuba diving here on 7/9/2017. Average viz: 5-10ft/2-3m. Water temp: 50-55°F/10-13°C. This was my first time diving in Monterey. I rented suit tank and weights from Breakwater Scuba. I wore a 7mm semi dry suit, front entry with hood, boots and gloves. I was very comfortable in the water. There is plenty to see. The visibility was decent to good in spots. The shop is walking distance to the water. I suited up at the shop, walked to the shore and went diving with a buddy. This should have been a 5 star dive but the visibility was not as good as could be. I still had an awesome time. I have to do this again.

jogirob - 3/22/2016 4:07 PM I went scuba diving here on 3/19/2016. Average viz: 11-15ft/3-5m. Water temp: 56-60°F/13-16°C. Went out with Dolphin Dive Club Sacramento for an easter egg hunt. Excellent dive conditions.

MC - 7/06/2014 10:53 PM Rating Added: 3 Easy entry, dive shops nearby. Parking gets crowded if you arrive after 9am. $10 to park all day. Coin op hot shower and free cold shower. Walking distance to cannery row. Many classes use this site for OW dive training. Good place to test new equipment.

golfette44 - 12/30/2011 8:16 PM Rating Added: 3 Great site for new divers as well as advanced. There are different nudibranch’s and an occasional meet and greet with the sea lions. I really enjoy the simplicity of this site and the variety of sea life.
