Shotgun is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in Komodo, Indonesia. This dive site has an average rating of 5.00 out of 5 from 1 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 91-100ft/28-30m. The average visibility is 101-110ft/31-34m.
A channel between the mainland and islands. Beautiful coral mounds that lead into a narrow channel. Walls are lined with yellow corals and with the sunlight looks magical.
Get the currents at their highest and as Komodo is famous for strong currents, this site wont let you down. The water will bottleneck at the start of the channel so hold on and enjoy the ride as you get shot through the channel.
Once you’re out of the channel, stick to the left (you’ll have to fin hard to get there due to counter currents) and a complete contrast of diving conditions will be waiting for you, including a coral garden which is one of the best in Komodo!
