Motukoreunga Island is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in Coromandel, New Zealand. The maximum depth is 61-70ft/19-21m. The average visibility is 61-70ft/19-21m.

Nice scenic dive site, also suitable for food gathering.
Due to it’s location, access is generally by boat only. (unless you are lucky enough to be able to afford being flown in by helicopter ;-) )

I went scuba diving here on 1/11/2013. Average viz: 61-70ft/19-21m. Water temp: 61-65°F/16-18°C.
Had a good look around since it was my first time diving this site. Plenty of smaller crays but Doug found the seemingly only keeper around.
After I had had enough, he took his son down for a dip. During that time we had a seal swimming around us.
