Peak Creek (private dock) is a shore accessible fresh water dive site, located in Pulaski, VA 24301. This dive site has an average rating of 2.00 out of 5 from 1 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 61-70ft/19-21m. The average visibility is 5-10ft/2-3m.
Private residence/dock at Peak Creek, very close to Claytor Lake in Pulaski County. Only dived this site twice - once in 2014 and again in 2015, both in summertime. Conditions were very difficult in 2014. Viz was less than 5ft and the bottom is sand/gravel covered in silt and algae which destroys any visibility when disturbed. Lots of largemouth and smallmouth bass, as well as a few catfish and striped bass. Large new river mussels are also at the site. Max depth is 66-68ft. Conditions were much more favorable in 2015 with visibility at least 10ft or a little more.
