This site is home to a wide variety of fish life including, angelfish, filefish and parrotfish. There is a very healthy amount of black coral on the deeper slopes of the wall.

DonFostersDive - 11/16/2012 1:21 PM Rating Added: 4 One of a number of huge coral pinnacles sitting on the sand sloping off into the depths, Blackie’s Hole is vibrant with soft corals and swarms of reef fish. Southern stingrays, spotted eagle rays and nurse sharks can often be seen swimming over the sand. Drop down into 100 feet to search for green morays on the south side of the pinnacle, then shallow up onto the top of the reef to discover the ’Hole’ - an easy swim-through that only gets dark for a moment as it turns almost at a 90 degree angle to your left to exit slightly deeper onto the sand. Sometimes the swim-through is full of silversides, with lionfish, jacks and snapper all trying to take a bite. Circle right, back to the mooring line and hang out on top of the reef with the creole wrasse and blue chromis dancing in the current . Beautiful.
