randomlyon - 10/30/2023 9:55 PM Rating Added: 4 I logged six boat dives here in early March ’23 while staying at the Majestic Elegance Punta Cana - all inclusive resort. They had an on prem dive shop w/ boats, managed by a German expat. We dove the reefs from El Patio to Rockey Point as well as the Astron freighter wreck. The viz was pretty good at 40’ and the temp was perfect warm Caribbean. There was a huge swell that knocked divers and fish forward and backward like clockwork because it is on the Atlantic side, but it didn’t detract from my enjoyment. I recommend diving here if you’re already going to be in a Punta Canada resort and the weather works out.
