Cape Gavazzi & the Archaeological U/W Museum is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in Ustica, Italy. The maximum depth is 121-130ft/37-40m.

Cape Gavazzi – defined as the world’s first underwater archaeological museum. Many anchors, Roman and even pre-Roman amphorae, most probably the remains of a number of ancient shipwrecks, can still be seen in these waters at depths of just 15 m (50 ft) and further down at depths of 40 m (130 ft). The archaeological museum is to be visited by following the “Arianna Rope”, which links a series of interesting findings that would otherwise most probably be missed.

The dive at Cape Gavazzi’s is fascinating and made easy by the presence of a spur, which runs offshore amongst several rocks and fish holes. Viewing is enhanced by thick shoals of small fish including damselfish, rainbow fish, saupes and saddled sea breams
