USS Nashua (YTB-774) is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in HI. This dive site has an average rating of 4.33 out of 5 from 3 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 61-70ft/19-21m. The average visibility is 91-100ft/28-30m.

USS Nashua (YTB-774) was a United States Navy Natick class large district harbor tug named for Nashua, New Hampshire.[1]

Nashua was assigned to the Subic Bay Naval Station, Philippines. In addition to providing assistance to other naval ships and craft during berthing and docking evolutions, she also rendered towing and waterfront fire protection services. Nashua was likewise available to serve as an inner harbor patrol craft and to render assistance in emergency and disaster situations.Nashua was stricken from the Navy List 6 May 1994. NVR indicates that ex-Nashua is under the custodial care of Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit One, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.[2] Another source reports that ex-Nashua was sold.[3]

It sits in about 65 ft of water just outside of Hickam Harbor. It is very close to Ewa Pinnacles and Poseidon’s Reef.

You can see a few White Tip Sharks loitering near the bottom on any given day. When I get a good location I will update it.

Green_Achers - 5/04/2014 7:42 PM I went scuba diving here on 5/4/2014. Average viz: 71-80ft/22-24m. Water temp: 76-80°F/24-27°C. This is a must do wreck dive for this area. It’s a wreck used for military dive training so things can change from time to time. The bridge door is hanging on by one hinge so it moves with the currant. There are typically white tip sharks near the cement pylons and we one plus a manta ray. Eels make this their home as well as many other sea life.

Lots of fish from Trigger to angels and lets not forget the coral and urchins. Light penetration available and great visibility. This is a great way to spend a short afternoon diving.
