Prinz Eugen is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in Marshall Islands. The maximum depth is 121-130ft/37-40m. The average visibility is 91-100ft/28-30m.
The Prinz Eugen is a WWII Admiral Hipper-class Heavy Cruizer and resting upside down in Kwajalein Atoll. The ship was a war prize and subject to two atomic tests at Bikini in 1946. Listing badley, she was towed back to Kwajalein. Fearing that she would sink in the shipping channel, she was towed out into the lagoon and released. She drifted to the island of Enubuj. Now inverted, her bow rests at about 120 feet and her stern and propellers sit up out of the water. Zoom in on Google Earth and you can actually see her.
