LikeQuoteWent this morning about 0800. Virtually no surf, water temp 81 (perfect for a skin), slight current E-W, vis when not in the algae bloom was 20’, in the bloom maybe 5-10’ varying. Some growth on the platters. Lots of different fish schools continuously swimming around. One nice size trigger fish, one ray, small flounder, sand shark and variety of small to medium fish on the platters. Max depth 17’ ON THE BOTTOM! MUCH BETTER than the Pensacola reef (also many more platters and easier to get to the entry point along with showers & restrooms when finished. Would not be fun getting in and out if much surf.
From the closet middle platter to the pole nearest the boardwalk it is 340 degrees. Do the math for going out.
It is in fact about 50 yards to the east of the boardwalk
