Lake of the Ozarks at some places rivals ocean swells. Lot’s of big boats. Beware of slamming docks and boat lifts. Visibility has ranged from 3 to 12 feet. Water is green during summer. Temperatures about 85 degrees max summertime at surface and thermocline is about 14 feet. I just use a top with hood for some warmth and equipment protection. Shore dive at my location goes about 35 feet deep where silt takes over. I’ve made my dive location interesting, not just a muck dive.
