Sherwood Forest is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in Mozambique. The maximum depth is 121-130ft/37-40m. The average visibility is 91-100ft/28-30m.

Topography: An 80 meter DOME cut away around the bottom and covered with green coral trees (hence the name Sherwood Forest). These coral trees are home to millions of Goldie’s, and are a spectacular sight, especially for the keen photographer. Also seen under the dome are large Potato Bass and a resident Brindle Bass (aptly named Robin Hood), Mantas, Devil Rays and a variety of game fish.

Degree of Difficulty: This is a difficult dive and is only suitable for advanced divers who can descend quickly as there can be strong currents due to the shape of the reef, it is not suitable for drift diving and is therefore not dived when the current is running.

Visibility: Ranges from 10m to 30m
