Small wreck from a tin cargo ship. Sunk under suspicious circumstances. The wreck itself is just an square hull on a sandy bottom, though it attracts an amazing variety of marine wildlife.
This tin dredger called "Boonsung" sank around 20 years ago. The 30m long and 10m wide wreck is covered in barnacles and sponges and lies at a 18-20m depth on flat sand. Tons of fish gather here including bigeye trevally, snappers, batfish, moray eels and the Andaman Sea’s largest concentration of Porcupine fish. She makes an excellent night dive for divers returning from Myanmar liveaboard trips.
