Cayo Cabritas reef is a shore accessible salt water dive site, located in Brisas de Ceiba, Ceiba County 00735, Puerto Rico. The maximum depth is 36-40ft/11-12m. The average visibility is 71-80ft/22-24m.
This is off the former Enlisted Men’s Beach at the former Roosevelt Roads Naval Air Station. It’s a lovely spot, and back in 1968, this little island, Cayo Cabritas, was fringed all around by a reef of staghorn coral. Lots and lots of marine life, featuring eagle rays, barracuda, etc., etc., etc. It was a spot of heaven.
