Rappel is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in Bonaire. This dive site has an average rating of 4.00 out of 5 from 1 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 91-100ft/28-30m. The average visibility is 51-60ft/16-18m.
Rappel gets its name form the 25’-30’ shear rock cliff rising out of the water, meaning the only way to exit this site as a shore dive is to rappel the cliff or swim a good distance south to find a more easily accessible exit. There is a flat sandy bottom for approximately 30’ from the cliff before the reef drops off to around 100 fsw. There is a lot of small to medium sized sea life on the reef.
