Indian Shores Reef is a salt water dive site, located in Tampa / St. Petersburg, FL. This dive site has an average rating of 3.00 out of 5 from 5 scuba divers.

This artificial reef was started more than 30 years ago and has developed extensive marine life. It includes a barge and two World War II Navy Landing Ships.

Off shore far enough to have reasonable viz. Usually plenty of fish around and some good sized Goliath Grouper.

I went scuba diving here on 3/18/2006. Average viz: 41-50ft/12-15m. Water temp: 76-80°F/24-27°C.

Good dive, warm water and lots of critters. Saw a scorpion fish, plenty of sand perch, star fish and crab.
