Point Dume is a shore accessible salt water dive site, located in CA. This dive site has an average rating of 3.80 out of 5 from 5 scuba divers.

I have not personally done this dive. It is supposed to offer great vis and lots of ocean life, there is a strong current here and can be some pretty gnarly surf. Best chance to see palegic species like sharks and whales due to deeper water currents deflecting off the point.

freedvr - 5/27/2014 2:06 PM I went scuba diving here on 5/26/2014. Average viz: 16-20ft/5-6m. Water temp: 56-60°F/13-16°C. A helluva hike or swim to get to from the state beach parking lot. Great freediving spot. a lot of work for scuba but would be totally worth it via kayak or boat.
